The Communications Manager develops and implements comprehensive communication strategies, manages teams, creates high-quality content, oversees digital marketing and social media, builds media relations, engages stakeholders, and ensures consistent branding to enhance organizational visibility, advocacy, and impact.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience:
4–5 years of experience in communications, preferably in the NGO/non-profit sector
2–3 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role, with proven ability to lead teams and manage multi-channel communication campaigns
Skills:
Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
Ability to build and maintain media and stakeholder relationships.
Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
