The Monitoring, Research, Evaluation and Learning (MREL) Department is seeking three Data Entry Assistants for a one-month assignment to support the digitization of legal case records. The role involves transferring paper-based records into structured digital formats, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational data management standards.
a. Transfer manual legal case records into structured digital formats using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
b. Organize and structure data according to approved templates and data management standards
c. Support data migration into the Content Management System (CMS), where required
a. Apply data validation rules and formulas to ensure accuracy and consistency
b. Cross-check entered data against source documents to ensure completeness
c. Identify and flag missing, inconsistent, or unclear records for review
a. Submit daily and weekly progress reports against assigned targets
b. Maintain accurate records of completed work and processed data volumes
c. Support final data verification and handover activities
a. Maintain strict confidentiality of all legal and programmatic information
b. Adhere to organizational policies and data protection standards
c. Ensure accuracy and professionalism in all assigned tasks
a. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
b. Background in IT, Data Management, Social Sciences, or a related field will be preferred
a. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
b. Knowledge of formulas such as VLOOKUP, IF, COUNTIF, and data validation techniques
c. Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) will be an advantage
a. Previous experience in data entry, digitization, record management, or administrative support roles will be preferred
b. Experience handling large volumes of data accurately and efficiently
a. Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40 WPM preferred)
b. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
c. Ability to work under daily and weekly targets
d. Strong organizational and time-management skills
e. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
